We understand that your plans may change, so should you require to cancel your booking we would appreciate that you do so as soon as possible. Bookings cancelled prior 8 days before your arrival will not be charged. However bookings cancelled after this will be charged with 50% of the price, and if cancelled later then 3 days will be charged the full price as will “no shows”.
Cawdor House is a guest house and therefore unfortunately we can’t offer a 24 hour reception. Our check in time is between 4pm and 7pm.
If you are coming to stay as a wedding guest, it is especially important to tell us if you require early entry to your room. We cannot guarantee that rooms will be ready before 4pm, but we do our best to get the rooms cleaned as soon as possible. If you like to have guaranteed early check-in please book the night before too.
Guests are asked to vacate their rooms by 11am on the morning of departure.
Please note that breakfast is served between 8am and 9:30am. A lunch package is available if you have planned an early departure.
When staying at Cawdor House, you are welcomed as a guest in our house, and asked to respect our house and its contents. We are completely non smoking throughout the house. Any guest found to be smoking will be asked to leave, regardless of time of day, and will be charged the full price of their stay. There will be a cleaning charge of £100 added to the bill. The same will apply to anyone causing disruption to the rest of the house.
Children are most welcome at Cawdor House. Child seat and baby cot are available on request free of charge.
By making a booking you are agreeing to comply with the above terms.
